The Islamorada Shula’s 2 opened its doors July 22, 2013, at 84001 Overseas Highway, revealing an inviting, sports themed decor paired with a diverse menu that features SHULA CUT® Steaks, palate pleasing sandwiches, succulent seafood entrees and Shula Burgers. Consumer Requests Inspire Shula Burger to Shula’s 2 Transition
Situated inside the picturesque Postcard Inn Beach Resort and Marina at Holiday Isle, the Shula’s 2 location started out as a Shula Burger, Coach Shula’s fast-growing fast casual burger franchise out of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. While many customers had fallen in love with Coach’s signature burger blend and tasty Shula Burger sides, many were clamoring for more menu variety and a full-service restaurant environment better suited for watching big sporting events with friends.
According to Dave Shula, Shula’s Steak Houses, LLLP listened to their customers and believe the Shula’s 2 transition is the perfect solution for their Islamorada fans.
“We received rave reviews for our burgers but it was clear our customers wanted to enjoy our steaks and a full-service dining experience, too!” Dave Shula said. “We believe the new Shula’s 2 restaurant delivers the best of both worlds for our customers. Now they have the option of ordering a burger, a steak or seafood and can stick around to catch the game with their friends and family.”
Dave Shula says he can’t wait to hear what customers say about Shula’s 2, and he’s hoping to create new fans as hotel guests and local residents try out the new dining concept.
